GEMS OF SATSANG

GEMS OF SATSANG
(continued)

If every individual improves himself, then the entire society will become good.

Henceforth, I will not sin. This is true penance.

Feeling of "mine-ness" for the perishable, is cause of unrest and bondage

If you desire happiness from your children, then serve your mother and father.

May I get pleasure and comforts (sukh), this is the inertness of all sins.

Where there is appearance of gaining worldly pleasures, there understand that there is some danger!

Our life is not for us, rather it is for the welfare of others

Repetition of God's name and chanting aloud, both these are the kind that protect from Kali yug and lead to benediction.

As long as there is attraction for the world, till then true love for God has not been awakened.

Being saddened by the sorrow of others is the essence of service.

To wish evil for anyone, is inviting harm to yourself.

It is great insensibility, to want pleasure from things and persons.

He who desires something, has to definitely become dependent on someone or the other

He who gives pain to others, his mind cannot engage in worship and remembrance of God (Bhajan).

He who desires anything at all from us, how can he be our Guru?

With contentment all three - desires, anger and greed are destroyed.

To desire pleasures for ourselves is a demoniac trait.

By not regarding the acquired things as our own, leads to liberation naturally and self-evidently.

He who becomes pleased by his own pleasures in not a Yogi.

Remember, God's every single ordinance is for your eternal good and benefit.
