Future is not a Prerequisite

|| Shree Hari ||

However we wish, God meets us in that manner. There were two devotees, One was a devotee of Lord Shri Ram and the other was a devotee of Lord Shri Krishna. Both regarded their own beloved "Ishtadev" as great and better. One day they went to the forest where both the devotees were calling out to their own "Ishtadev". They had a bet that whichever God comes first, He will be the better God. Lord Krishna quickly manifested Himself, whereby His devotee said that my Lord is better. After some time Lord Ram manifested Himself. To this his devotee said, You made me lose the bet, Lord Krishna appear first, but you came much later,due to which I have been dishonored! Lord Shri Ram asked His devotee – "In what form did you remember Me?" The devotee replied - In RajaDhiraaj's form" Then Lord Shri Ram said "Without a means of transportation, how will Rajadhiraaj be able to come?" Now the devotee of Krishna was asked, to which he said – "I remembered my Lord in the form of a cowherd boy, as He only must be grazing cows in the forest." Therefore on calling, He immediately manifested Himself.
In a full assembly Dushashan was disrobing Draupadi, due to which she called out to the Lord "Dwaarakaavaasin Krishna" (the Krishna who resides in Dwarka), then God was a bit delayed in coming. To this the Lord told Draupadi that why did you call out for "Dwaarakaavaasin Krishna", it is due to that, I had to go to Dwarka and from there come here. If you had said, come from here only, then I would have manifested from here itself.
God is present everywhere. Where we are, there itself is God. God comes from whatever a devotee calls out to Him for. God manifests according to the feelings and sentiments of the devotee.

When Lord Krishna disappears in the midst of all the Gopis, then the Gopis began to call out to Him in desperation -
Dayit dushyataam dikshu taavakaastvayi dhrutaasavastaavaam vichinvate || (Srimad Bhaagwat 10/31/1)
"O' Beloved One! We gopis who have surrender our life-breath to you, are seeking and looking for you in all directions, therefore now you immediately appear before us."
On listening to the Gopis call, the Lord manifested Himself in their midst –
Taasaamaavirbhoocchourih smyamaanamukhaambujah |
Peetaambaradharah snagvee saakshaanmanamyamanmathaah ||
At that very same time, in the midst of all the Gopis, the Lord Shri Krishna manifested Himself. The Lord's face was lighted up. He had worn a garland around His neck and was robed in beautiful golden yellow. Such an appearance, magnetically pulling and causing disturbance in the minds of all, even Kaamdev's (cupid's) mind was in turmoil"
In this manner, the Gopis by calling out "O' Beloved ! Please appear before us" (dayit dushyataam) – and by saying so, God appeared there and then. If they said that come from some other place, then God would come from that place. (to be continued).
