Future is not a Prerequisite

We ourselves have placed a roadblock in God Realization, thinking that only those men that are detached and have renounced the world can realize God and how could God be realized by us householders? God can be realized by those living in the forest, how can he be attained by us, living in cities? If we do not get a good guru, then how can we meet God? If we do not follow an exceptional rigorous spiritual practice, then how can we realize God? Nowadays there is no good "mahatma" great soul that can show us the path to God Realization, then how can we realize God? We are not deserving at all, then how can we reach God? My deeds "karmas" are such, therefore how can I meet God? In this way, we place endless obstacles by our own self. We have crushed God under the mountains of obstacles! In such a state, what will poor God do? How can He meet us?
By having the sentiments that "I will attain Shivji by doing various austerities" Parvati herself placed a barrier in attaining Shivji; due to which she had to perform various austerities. On having the sentiments of performing austerities, Shivji was attained only after doing various austerities. In the same way, it was only due to sentiments that Dhruv realized God after six months of austerities. In fact there is no delay in meeting God.
The time that it takes to transform the feelings and sentiments within whereby you feel that now you cannot live without God, at that very moment God will be realized.
It is a totally false notion that God will be realized only in exchange of some abilities and spiritual practices. It is a principle that the thing that is attained for a price, that thing is of a lesser value then the price paid. If a watch is purchased for Rs. 100, the shopkeeper himself has not purchased it for Rs. 100, but for less than that amount. In the same way, if we believe that we can attain God by exceptional abilities or spiritual practices, or sacrifices, or charity or some great deeds, then God is worth less then those things! But God is not worth for less then that*[1], therefore He cannot be purchased by spiritual practices and money-possessions etc.[2] If he were purchased in exchange for some value then on meeting such a God, how can He benefit us? Because greater than Him (of more value) will be abilities, sacrifices, austerities, charity etc., that were already in our possession !
