How to Renounce Desires? :....(continued)
God does not distance Himself even for a single moment. God is Omnipresent, and at all times -
Bahirantsch bhootaanaamcharam charmeva cha |
Sookshtvaattdavijeyam doorastham chaantike cha tat || (Gita 13/15)
He exists, within and without all beings and constitutes the movable and unmovable creation. Since He is subtle, He is incomprehensible. He is near and stands afar too.
Everywhere - inside-outside, up, down there is God and only God. Bow down to Him, call out to Him - "He Naath! He Naath! O' Lord! O' Lord! Make Yourself be seen." Just as the Gopis said - "Pyaare dikh jaao! Dikh jaao!" O' Beloved One, Please make Yourself be seen! They did not say "please come". We are entirely all Yours - from every direction we are searching for You, make Yourself be seen Maharaj!
Taasaamaavirabhoochourih smayamaanamukhaambujah|
Peetaambaradharah stragvee saakshaanmamathamanmathaah ||
The most beautiful form of Lord Shri Krishna capable of embarrassing even cupid (kaam dev), manifested right there and then, in the midst of all the gopis. This is God Himself. He has not gone far away. He is sitting right next to us. But we do not look in that direction at all. We look towards the perishable things only. Our sight is only towards the perishable.
Ye yathaa maam prapadyante taanstathaiva bhajaamyaham | (Gita 4/11)
It is God's Nature that "if you look towards the perishable, then He comes to you in the form of the perishables. He will only appear and be seen by you in that form." If you feel thirsty then He will come to you in the form of water. If you feel hungry, then He will come to you in the form of food. Whatever you wish, He will come to you in that form only. But it is only God that will come, from where will someone else come? If you like Him in the form of God, then God says - "I will come to you." If you desire him in the form of the world, then He will come in the form of the world.
Salvation takes place very quickly for he who desires God in the form of Divinity. God has a deep seated hunger that My devotee, My very own part, should come to Me in whatever way. Satisfy God's hunger, have mercy on God, All of you have compassion on Him. Only want God, and not anything else. Desire only God, to wipe out all other desires and wants. If all other wants and desires are wiped out, then the desire to meet God will be fulfilled. Hope of the world, wanting from it, thirsting for it – these are all obstacles. Whatever things we have, they are all for the world. Utilize them in the service of the world; you will be most benefited. This is the absolute truth.
Chaah gayi chintaa mitee manvaa beparavaah |
Jisko kuch nahin chaahiye so shanapatishaah ||
He shresth se bhi shresth, per tu chaah karke brasht hai |
When all desires come to an end, you will attain great joy, great bliss on attaining God. Gentlemen! This joy is without having any money. The joy that flows from within is extra-ordinary. At present you take pleasure from the outside, but you do not get pleasure. That which comes, is not enjoyable. And that which is enjoyable, does not last.
Kanchan khan khuli ghat maahi | ramdas ke toto naahi ||
Joy flows from within every pour. There is such joy that seeing it, other men also become blissful. There is only one point. Let the slavery to the world by wiped out.
