Human Life's Significance is on

|| Shree Hari ||

(Bhagwat Praapti se Maanav Jeevan ki Saarthaktaa)

Human body has been received only for God Realization. God Realization is also called liberation, enlightenment, salvation, attainment of eternal love, attainment of perfection, and a state where nothing further needs to be done. It has been addressed by various other names as well. There is no difference between humans and other creatures from a gross perspective. All bodies are made of the five elements. And the one that is assuming the body as his own is the "jeev" embodied soul that is an "ansh" (fraction, part) of God. It is the conscious element - "mamaivaasho jeevaloke" (Gita 15/7).
There are two types of births.
1) is "bhogyoni" - birth for pleasure seeking and
2) is "karmayoni" - birth to fulfill one's duty.
Human birth is to fulfil one's duty, (karmayoni) i.e. to do spiritual disciplines (saadhanyoni). Shri Goswamiji Maharaj has called this very same birth as "Swarg narak apabarg niseni". The significance of human birth is that according to the actions (deeds) in this birth, one can attain liberation or birth in higher or lower wombs. According to the deeds performed in human birth, the material and worldly enjoyments are dispensed. In human birth, man has complete freedom in performing his duty. In other births, the "jeev" is undergoing the favorable and unfavorable consequences of his past good and bad deeds and keeps revolving in the cycle of birth and death. Since "Jeev" does not have the independence to act in the various other births, his path to liberation remains blocked.
Eternally showering His affection on all, without any cause, the Almighty Lord sometimes out of His grace, with the aim of relieving a soul once and for all from the never-ending sorrows, gives a chance by bestowing a human birth -

Some people say that man must decide on an aim of his live. By having an aim, accordingly will be the effort and the actions. Their saying is correct, but on thinking further it comes to my understanding that God has already decided upfront the aim of human life. God first decides the aim of this "jeev", and accordingly for the fulfillment of that aim and intent, that "jeev" is given the human life. Therefore man does not have a need for any new aims. The need is to recognize the aim that was previously established. It is with this intent that God has bestowed this human birth. With the thought that "may this Jeev do his spiritual disciplines for attaining salvation" and with that He sent the "jeev" to the human womb, and He provided all the spiritual disciplines for attaining jeev's liberation in this birth – such disciplines that are immensely easy, straight forward and significant to all intents and purpose. Therefore Goswamiji Maharaj has called this human birth as "Saadhan dhaam" – a place for spiritual disciplines, "mokshaka dwaar" – the gateway to liberation and "Bhavsaagar ka bedaa" - a raft in the ocean of life.

Now a question arises that "when a man is born with a single purpose and aim, then not holding on to his exclusive aim, why is he getting side-tracked and wandering aimlessly in many different directions?
