God Realization by Divine Name Repetition and Serving

||  Shree Hari   ||

(Naam Japa aur Seva se Bhagwat Praapti )

continued ...

The time is right now,  detach your mind from all directions. All relationships are going to break off.   None of the relationships will remain.   If you leave them, then you will be greatly benefited.   All you have to leave is that which is going to go away,  what is the new thing that is to be done?    Mentally become detached from those that are going to separate.   Becoming detached means -  serve them,  but do not want anything from them.   By doing so,  neither the family members will become upset,  because they only want your service.    Do not take any service from them,  then they will be all the more pleased.

If you serve and only serve then the whole world will be pleased, you will be greatly benefited and God will be attained.   If you want things from the world then they will be displeased with you.    Even if they give it to you, then they will be displeased and then they will give,  saying that what to do,  misfortune has come !  But if you do not want anything, then the world will beg to give.  In fact, those who are without any wants from within, the world serves those saints.   The ones who serve say that Maharaj,  please accept my gifts, then I will be greatly benefited.     When the taker is genuinely not concerned about getting something, then on giving, the giver will be greatly benefited.  However,  if in your heart there is a need, then even on giving the other person will not become happy.   On the contrary he will think that this man is a fraud.  If he gives then one does not know what crap and filth is within him.   Therefore have a generous outlook towards the world.

The things acquired from the world are all most certainly belonging to the world.  The body has been attained from mother and father,  knowledge has been acquired from the teachers,  we have taken and only taken from the world.   Now at least have mercy and start to give. Minimally at least learn to give!  There will not be any shortage on giving.   Only your feelings will become more generous.   Just as a hunter, hopes that the hunted comes in front of his pistol, similarly you are seeing that may someone come in front of me that I can capture, then in which ever way possible, I will take from him !   This is the state of affairs,  and then you say I have not gained from this relationship.  How will you gain,  rather you will only take a fall !    Whatever you are spending today, that much only you should spend,  not more,   but completely transform your feelings and sentiments (bhaav), that I do not want to take anything.  I only want to give and give only.    I want to serve.    Spend as much as you can easily spend, but I do not want to take anything from anyone –    be your sentiments (bhaav).    Then see whether life improves or not, life will become free of flaws.   People will become pleased.   God will become pleased.   You will be pleased,  You will become blissful.

He who serves,  never become unhappy.   He who takes is always unhappy.   Even if he gets, he is not pleased, thinking that he did not get enough !   If he gets a lot, he become proud.   Suffering and demoniac qualities will remain with him, because he has wished for inert objects.  Therefore,  it has been said -  "deneko tukadaa bhalaa, leneko Hari naam"   I saw a sadhu (ascetic).  He was sitting in solitude and doing Naam Japa and there were tears rolling down from his eyes.   There was a small window, which too he had closed,  so that no one from the outside could see him, nor could he see anyone.    He could not sleep at night.  In this manner if someone does Naam Japa then while will he not benefit? Do it and see for yourself.    There is hunger in the stomach, but the sweet dish is tied to the back, and you say that I don't feel gratified !   At least eat and see whether you feel gratified or not.  (to be continued)
