Uninterrupted Spiritual Practice
(Akhand Saadhan)

continued......

Even after associating with holy company (satsang)-devotion and worship of God (bhajan) for many years uninterrupted “bhajan” is not taking place.  There are many reasons for this, but of them, the main reason and the greatest of all is that you have not connected the sense of “I-ness”  with your spiritual practice.  On one hand, you are doing spiritual practices,  and thoughts of the world are going on.   That which is real will only be uninterrupted.  How can that which is false be uninterrupted?  If you fake it, it will go away, then what are we to do?   If you want to do uninterrupted spiritual practice,  then understand, or accept “I am God’s”  On establishing a relationship with God,  the commitment comes, and then what is there to do?  Only spiritual practices (saadhan) are to be done.   I had said that “Only spiritual practices are to be done”  it is not that “spiritual practices are also to be done.”    Our brothers and sisters are also doing spiritual practices.  Let us also do this,  let us put in 1-2 hours in this,  out of twelve months, let us devote 2-4 months in this.  Let us do this also,  and of course housework has to be done.   That housework is inevitable (definitive),  but this is “also”  (supplemental).  With this attitude,  in this way as long as you assume an affinity with the world,   till then,  only the relationship with the world will remain.
Think and you will see for yourself,  that the relationship with the world was not there and will not remain.    I have shared with you about  the relationship with the world from a gross perspective.  On a subtle level,  if it is seen,  then it is absolutely not there at all,  not even for a single moment.  Just as the water of Gangaji flows and does not remain steady even for a single moment, however when seen from a gross perspective,    then it is said that from tomorrow the waters will flow from this step.  As it was yesterday,  so it is today, it is flowing on the same step,  but from a subtle perspective,  not even for  a single moment is the water remaining at the place where it was yesterday.   At the next moment, if it were there in the same spot, then for ever it would remain steady there;  however it is not steady even for a single moment.  In the same way,  this body,  senses,  mind, intellect,  life breath do not remain steady for even a single moment.  Why is that -  क्षणपरिणामिनो भावा ऋते चितिशक्ते:
Besides the power of the conscious element, everything is by nature temporary, momentary.  You have assumed sense of mine with the momentary,  Due to that, you are unable to see your own sense of mine-ness.  Then how can you come to understand that “I am God’s and God is mine.”   Actually speaking,  only God is ours, no one else is ours.  If you go deeply into this,  no one is ours.  Oh!  the body too is not ours,  then how can anyone else be ours ? and only by having affinity with the body how did they become ours?
On this if we say -  now what to do?   sense of mine-ness appears to be tenaciously there, now how to remove it?   Then for this there is one very easy and very great method.  This can be done by any brothers-sisters, young-old, educated-uneducated,  each and every one can do it.   Now what is that  method?    (to be continued)
