Gems of Satsang
The concentration or meditation on the self evident essence or existence is very simple - "Sattaa maatram sugam nrunaam" God IS (present) - this is essential, but how is God – is not essential. You can say that He is all pervading and completely present in all places, time, things, individuals etc. Just as we accept that we are at this place at present, similarly accept that at all times we are situated in God. No one ever experiences their non-existence. Just as I am, similarly God IS. In this manner, the meditation on one's self evident Existence (IS-ness) is a very advanced level of meditation. It is not a meditation on our state, condition, tendencies etc. "vruttis", rather it is meditation on "acceptance" i.e. "sveekriti". Thoughts and reflections can end, but acceptance (by the Self), can never end. Even in forgetfulness, this deep seated acceptance cannot end and cannot be wiped out.

We are not going to reside here (permanently). We have come here (this world) and we have to go from here. We are not here to only exhaust the fruits of our past actions (karmas) like birds and animals, rather we have come here for our upliftment.

This body is constantly going away. Death is coming closer. Therefore our work should only be in the thing that we alone can do, which no one else can do. Only we can attain our liberation / salvation. Worldly work others will also get done.
We have to do service for the world and we have to love God. God is mine - this is a very important point! Love happens from feeling of mine, a oneness. Therefore only accept God as your very own. This body is not at all ours and not for us at all.

God Realization is very easy. Duality itself is cause of bondage. How to be free from sense of duality? Happiness-Unhappiness, favorable-unfavorable, likes-dislikes, good-bad none of this will remain. Everything is moving towards non-existence. The entire creation is moving towards non-existence. In that what is good and what is bad? How can there be attachment to the thing that is going to perish? What is there to be attracted to or repulsed by the thing that will not remain? What is there to be pleased or displeased?
Separation from the world is permanent, union with the world is not. No one can hold on to the union with the world. Leave the desire for union with the thing that is going to dis-unite. There is not a single moment in which the union will last, and that the separation is not taking place. It is only death and death, there is no living at all! If you desire to live, then you will have to cry when death comes about. If you do not desire to live, then what is there to cry? One has only to give up the desire for union. It is because you want it to stay, but it does not stay, therefore you are experiencing unhappiness. Liberation is not difficult, bondage is difficult.

God "IS", the World "IS NOT". That which was not there in the beginning and which will not remain later, is not there in the present as well. All things are moving towards "NOT" (non-existence). The "IS NOT-ness" (non-existence) of the world is the only thing that is being established. It is the work of a spiritual aspirant – to renounce the "NOT" and to become established in the "IS". Renunciation is happening naturally - "this should remain" – this want has to be renounced. "NOT" is unnatural and "IS" is natural. Truth (IS) is in the form of experience only. You are trying to see the "IS" through the "NOT-IS" -this is a mistake.
The best method to concentrate your mind is by indifference, disinterest. Neither oppose, nor support. If you want to concentrate your mind it will not happen. First decide on God as your goal and then leave the goal also, else the trinity will come.
No matter how God is, He is ours. No matter how the world is, we have to leave it. What has to be left, why reflect over it? What has to be adopted, let us reflect on that only. No matter how mother is, she is ours.
